 Lesson content remains flexible to ensure that the student learns at their own pace. It is important that the lesson time is interesting and enjoyable. 

There is always a focus on actually playing tunes and songs rather than trudging through scales and exercises. Whilst I won't pretend that scales etc. aren't important they will be covered within the context of a song.

If you want more formal recognition for your learning I can prepare you for exams. As I am registered with the RGT I have access to their learning materials and can buy their books on your behalf.

Rockschool also offer a syllabus which focuses on learning set pieces to play at various levels.
